Started in 2015 with a N.O., our Foundation has remained steadfast in its commitment to empowering the youth of India. Rooted in the belief that every human must stand for one another knitting boundaries, we launched our inaugural campaign, The Pocket Money Campaign, in response to the devastating Nepal earthquake. This initiative marked the beginning of our journey towards fostering positive change and resilience.
At Youth of India, we recognize the transformative power of intergenerational partnerships. Our ethos extends beyond age boundaries, embracing the wisdom and experience of older generations as invaluable assets in shaping the future. Accredited by the United Nations DGC and in partnership with esteemed organizations like the G20 & others, we leverage global networks to amplify our impact at the grass-roots and advocate for local youth empowered impactful initiatives on an international scale.
Central to our approach is a grassroots focus on the 3Es towards 2047: Engage, Empower, and Evolve. Education, Environment, and Employment serve as pillars of our mission, addressing critical facets of youth development. Through localized initiatives and partnerships, we aim to equip young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
As India approaches its historic 100th Independence Day in 2047, we stand committed to shaping the nation’s trajectory by nurturing its youth. Our vision extends beyond borders, encompassing a collective effort to build a brighter future for generations to come. In our pursuit of empowering youth, we have also formed a valuable partnership with the World Bank Youth Summit. This collaboration allows us to leverage the expertise and resources of the World Bank to further our mission. Together, we strive to address the pressing challenges faced by the youth and find innovative solutions for a better future.
At Youth of India, we believe in bringing solutions from the grassroots and amplifying them at various levels. We firmly believe that sustainable change begins at the local level, and it is through grassroots initiatives that we can create a meaningful impact. By working closely with communities, understanding their needs, and involving local youth, we ensure that our efforts are grounded in real-world challenges and solutions.
Furthermore, we understand the importance of scaling up successful models and initiatives. Once we identify impactful solutions at the grassroots level, we work towards amplifying them at the state, national, regional, and even international levels. By collaborating with government bodies, NGOs, and other stakeholders, we strive to create a multiplier effect that benefits youth across diverse geographical boundaries.
Our foundation’s mission and happens to be 3Es towards 2047: Engage, Empower, and Evolve and vision is Education, Environment and Employment. We believe that empowerment begins with education. Through our initiatives, we strive to provide access to quality education, ensuring that young minds are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
We are also committed to addressing environmental challenges. We promote sustainable practices and raise awareness about the importance of preserving our planet. By instilling a sense of responsibility towards the environment, we empower youth to become environmental stewards and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
In addition to education and the environment, we place great emphasis on employment. We understand the significance of economic empowerment in transforming lives and communities. Our aim is to create avenues for employment, offering skills training, mentorship, and opportunities for youth to develop successful careers and contribute to India’s growth and prosperity.
As we look towards the future, we are motivated by the upcoming milestone of India’s 100th Independence Day in 2047. We see this as a momentous occasion and a testament to our nation’s progress.
