Wings of Wonder

Wings of Wonder

Just as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s legacy continues to inspire millions, the wings at the Youth of India Foundation serve as a constant reminder of our potential to soar. These inspiring words have not only influenced our mission, but they also act as the catalyst to all that we do.

These wings reflect our core belief that every individual has the potential to rise beyond challenges and make an impact. It’s a gradual journey, often marked by the challenges faced, but these remind us of the strength and courage one has.

Of course, we also always aim to walk back to the Ancient Cultures, learning from them to move towards a better, more progressive future. And these wings have been a powerful symbol in cultures across the world!

In Indian mythology, Garuda represents the divine bird who carries Lord Vishnu, symbolizing Strength, Speed, and Fearlessness. Garuda’s wings represent the strength to overcome obstacles. Similarly, Pegasus, the winged horse from Greek mythology, symbolizes freedom and the pursuit of knowledge, rising with unwavering determination. Both these mythical creatures are symbols of empowerment, among the various other counterparts, and their symbolism aligns perfectly with Youth of India’s mission in Uplifting and Empowering the modern youth. The journey of growth is not always easy but comes along with challenges and requires patience, persistence, and a belief in oneself.

And at the Youth of India Foundation, we believe in Engaging, Empowering, and Evolving individuals to take flight, no matter the challenges they face. Wings are a constant reminder that the SKY IS YOURS!
