UnPlastic India is a 2018 Youth of India Foundation initiative that champions nature-based solutions, encouraging people to do away with single-use plastic entirely. The initiative promotes the use of biodegradable and eco-friendly materials, such as bamboo, jute, and recycled products, as practical substitutes for everyday plastic items. Partnering with 100+ Educational Institutions, UnPlastic India actively engages communities in clean-up drives, plastic-free challenges including the UNEP Tide Turners Challenge, and plastic waste recycling programs. Through UnPlastic India, we envision a nation where sustainable living is not just a choice but a lifestyle.
